What FnScribe is

FnScribe is a dictation app for Mac. You hold fn, speak, and let go, and your words paste as text wherever the cursor is, in any app. Speech recognition runs on the Mac with OpenAI’s Whisper model, so it works offline and needs no account. Optional AI cleanup removes filler words and writes in the style of the app you’re in, on the user’s own API key or with Ollama on the Mac.

FnScribe isn’t on sale yet. This website has no download, no checkout, no account and no contact form.
